Our fight is not a bureaucratic struggle. For the millions of patients who depend on their compounded hormones to live normally, it is a potential health crisis.<\/p>\n<p>For many providers and pharmacists this issue will determine the future of their practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The fight is not over. We need your support, your voice, your actions more than ever.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"center spaced\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3878 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/whizkid.com\/a4pc\/files\/give-to-save-cbht-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"100\" \/><\/figure>\n<h4>YEAR ONE: 2021<\/h4>\n<p>In the first year of our campaign, we successfully:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reached 25,000,000 patients, prescribers and physicians<\/li>\n<li>Engaged with more than 300,000 stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Developed and launched compounding.com<\/li>\n<li>Filmed and launched multiple testimonial videos<\/li>\n<li>Produced our Compounding the Joy of Living video<\/li>\n<li>Produced a version of Compounding the Joy of Living for our pharmacists to use in their local markets<\/li>\n<li>Created in-store marketing materials for our pharmacists<\/li>\n<li>Funded a 3rd-party review of the NASEM report<\/li>\n<li>Published articles in <em>STAT News<\/em> and <em>Everyday Health<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Produced multiple letters to Congress<\/li>\n<li>Featured in more than 100 podcast episodes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>YEAR TWO: 2022<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Standing up to FDA overreach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When we consider the future of compounding, 2022 may well prove a decisive point. And the fight over compounded hormones may prove to be the decisive issue. We must engage with patients, with practitioners, with relevant media and with Congress.<\/p>\n<p>We must continue to make our voices heard and help people understand exactly what\u2019s at stake. Most importantly, we need to inspire everyone affected by this issue to take action.<\/p>\n<h4>OUR 2022 GOAL: <span class=\"red\">Raise $850,000+<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In 2022, the money we raised was used on the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive advertising to all stakeholders of compounded hormones<\/li>\n<li>Focused effort to engage practitioners<\/li>\n<li>Developing and expanding compounding.com<\/li>\n<li>Unique media opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Added focus on patient testimonials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/whizkid.com\/a4pc\/files\/2022-cBHT-Goals-Brochure.pdf\"><strong>READ MORE ABOUT OUR 2022 GOALS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Year three: 2023<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Taking back control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Other voices have been telling the story of compounding to the world, in the halls of FDA, in the chambers of Congress. Unfortunately, these voices have a vested interest in marginalizing compounding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s time for us to take control of our own destiny.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>APC\u2019s <em>Compounding the Joy of Living: The Campaign for Pharmacy Compounding<\/em> is in the third year of our 3-year initiative to protect cBHT.
